A blogger, Ejike Ofoegbu arrested over alleged defamatory publications targeting Anambra State Governor, Prof. Charles Soludo, and members of his family is expected to be arraigned on Monday, July 13, 2026, at the Magistrate Court in Amawbia.
The arraignment is scheduled to commence at 9:00 a.m., according to a notice issued by the Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, Mr. Christian Aburime, inviting journalists and media organizations to cover the court proceedings.
The suspect is alleged to have authored and circulated a series of publications on social media containing claims about Governor Soludo and his family that reportedly went viral and generated widespread public reactions across various digital platforms.
