The Governor of Anambra State, Chukwuma Charles Soludo, has appointed Dr. Justina Chinyere Anyadiegwu as Chairman of the Anambra State Universal Basic Education Board (ASUBEB).
Dr. Anyadiegwu, currently Provost of Nwafor Orizu College of Education, Nsugbe, is an experienced English Language scholar with over 30 years in teaching across all levels of education.
She holds degrees from Ahmadu Bello University and Nnamdi Azikiwe University, and has worked with the British Council and the Universal Basic Education Commission on teacher development programmes.
Her appointment is expected to strengthen basic education delivery in the state.
The announcement was made in a statement signed by the Chief Press Secretary, Christian Aburime.
