Member of the Nigerian Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Agriculture, Sierra Leone, and Chief Executive Officer of Yennco World Trade Limited, Dr. Onyeka Nwafor, has called on businesses, manufacturers and entrepreneurs to participate actively in the maiden Nigeria-Sierra Leone Trade Fair slated for July 27 to August 9, 2026, in Freetown, Sierra Leone.
Dr. Nwafor said the trade fair is designed to promote Made-in-Nigeria products, expand market access for Nigerian businesses and strengthen economic ties between Nigeria and Sierra Leone.
According to him, the event will provide exhibitors with opportunities to showcase their products and services, engage in business-to-business (B2B) meetings, network with key industry stakeholders and explore investment opportunities across the West African region.
He noted that trade relations between both countries continue to grow and expressed confidence that the fair would help increase commercial activities, attract investors and create new partnerships for businesses.
The business leader urged government agencies, exporters, small and medium-scale enterprises (SMEs) and investors to take advantage of the platform to build valuable connections and penetrate new markets.
The trade fair is expected to attract participants from various sectors of the economy and further strengthen economic cooperation and regional integration between Nigeria and Sierra Leone.
