A councillorship aspirant for Nnobi Ward 1, Hon Ezeunyim Nnaemeka Emmanuel popularly known as Emmy Young, has declared that his ambition is driven by a desire to serve as a true voice for the people and to deliver purposeful leadership at the grassroots.
Speaking during an interaction with Our Correspondent, Hon Emmanuel said his quest for office goes beyond title-seeking, explaining that he is prepared to offer servant leadership that will make the people of Nnobi Ward 1 proud.
He expressed confidence that under his leadership, the ward would witness improved governance and people-centered development.
“I am running, not just to be called Councilor, but to be your servant and voice,” he said, assuring that the leadership of Nnobi Ward 1 under him would be better and impactful.
He noted that support for his aspiration translates to support for an assured and prosperous future for the ward. He called on the electorate to remain steadfast in backing the administration of Governor Chukwuma Charles Soludo, describing the Governor’s performance as commendable and transformative.
Some voters interviewed described Emmy Young as a strong, progressive, and vibrant youth with a clear desire to add value to Nnobi Ward 1.
They expressed optimism that his emergence would usher in renewed hope and development, declaring confidence that “Nnobi Ward 1 shall be great again.”
The aspirant who grew up in Nnobi and currently works with Idemili South Local Government, said his background and experience have prepared him for the task ahead, adding that he is fully ready to work for the progress of the ward.
Hon. Emmanuel, is a former Executive Assistant to Ex-Governor Willie Obiano, APGA Youth Leader in Nnobi Ward 1, and Special Assistant (Media) to the Mayor of Idemili South, Hon. Amaka Obi. He is a credible and capable choice for the ward in the forthcoming council poll.
He is a committed grassroots politician with the capacity to represent the interests of the people effectively, promising the residents of bringing governance closer to them while urging the APGA faithful, stakeholders and the people of Nnobi Ward 1 to rally behind him for a more inclusive and prosperous Nnobi Ward 1.
