The Anambra State Police Command has reaffirmed its commitment to protecting lives and property by sustaining intensified security operations across strategic locations in the state despite the prevailing weather conditions.
Police Public Relations Officer, SP Tochukwu Ikenga, said the ongoing operations include enhanced visibility patrols, intelligence-led policing, stop-and-search duties, confidence-building patrols, and coordinated joint security engagements aimed at preventing crime, reassuring residents, and ensuring swift responses to security threats.
According to him, the Command remains resolute in denying criminal elements any opportunity to operate within the state and will continue working closely with other security agencies and relevant stakeholders to maintain peace and public safety.
The Command also appealed to residents to remain vigilant, law-abiding, and security conscious by promptly reporting suspicious persons, movements, or activities to the nearest police station or through its emergency response channels.
