Hon. Boniface Chukwu Obi has reaffirmed his commitment to the development of Idemili South Constituency despite not scaling through the screening exercise for the 2027 Anambra State House of Assembly election under the platform of All Progressives Grand Alliance.
Speaking with journalists at his country home in Akwa-Ukwu, Hon. Bonny thanked party members, supporters, and stakeholders across Idemili South for their encouragement and support during the political sensitization period ahead of the screening.
He also appreciated Charles Soludo and the leadership of APGA for the opportunity to participate in the process, describing the experience as inspiring and worthwhile.
The politician congratulated aspirants who successfully scaled through the screening and wished them success in the party primaries scheduled for May 23.
Hon. Bonny stated that the outcome of the exercise would not discourage him from future political engagements or his commitment to humanitarian services and community development in Idemili South.
He assured supporters that his passion for service remains strong, pledging to continue his philanthropic activities and support for the less privileged.
Political observers in Idemili South described his reaction to the development as mature and focused on service rather than personal ambition.
