24years of episcopal ordination: Soludo hails Archbishop Okeke as beacon of faith, hope

Anambra state Governor, Prof Chukwuma Soludo has congratulated His Grace, Most Reverend Valerian Maduka Okeke, Archbishop of Onitsha and Metropolitan of Onitsha Ecclesiastical Province, on the happy occasion of the 24th anniversary of his Episcopal Ordination.

In his goodwill message, signed by his Press Secretary, Christian Aburime, the Governor praised the cleric for the 24 years of dedicated and exemplary spiritual leadership.

He described the Archbishop as a beacon of faith, hope, and charity, guiding the faithful with wisdom, compassion, and unceasing commitment to the gospel of Christ.

“Throughout his distinguished Episcopal ministry, Archbishop Okeke has been instrumental in promoting peace, unity, and development not only within the Catholic Church but also across Anambra State and the entire nation.

“His tireless advocacy for social justice, education, and the welfare of the poor and marginalised has left a positive mark on our society.

“I deeply appreciates Most Reverend Valerian Maduka Okeke’s invaluable contributions to nation-building, his moral guidance, and his consistent support for good governance and the wellbeing of all citizens,” he added.

The Governor prays that Almighty God continued to grant Archbishop Okeke divine health, wisdom, and strength to continue his noble service to God and humanity for many more fruitful years.
