Igwe declares second-term bid, lists achievements in Ogbaru

It was a celebratory atmosphere on April 15 at Okpoko Town Hall, Ogbaru LGA of Anambra State, as the lawmaker representing Ogbaru I Constituency, Chief Noble Igwe (Oda-opue), declared his intention to seek a second term.


Addressing APGA supporters, the Ogbaru LGA party chairman, Chief Onochia Obiora, praised the people for their loyalty to the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA), noting their strong support in previous elections.

He also commended Igwe’s performance, assuring him of the party’s backing if he secures the ticket.


In his remarks, Igwe thanked constituents for their continued support, especially for Governor Chukwuma Soludo.

He highlighted key achievements from his first tenure, including enrolling over 300 residents in the state health insurance scheme, empowering more than 200 people, building the Okpoko Town Hall, attracting a smart school, road projects, and awarding scholarships.


He pledged to deliver more dividends of democracy if re-elected and appealed for continued support.


Also speaking, Ogbuefer Market chairman, High Chief Monaonye Innocent, endorsed Igwe’s performance and expressed readiness of traders to support the eventual APGA candidate.
