AIG Zone 13 retires after 35 years service, charges newly promoted officers to show dedication to duties      

Speaking during the occasion, Aghaulor charged serving officers including the newly-promoted  officers  to remain dedicated to their duties and prayed for their well-being and safety.

He further charged them not to abandon Nigeria in the hands of bad elements.     

 He commended the officers for their dedication and urged them to redouble their efforts in upholding the core mandate of the Nigeria Police Force.

He emphasized the importance of their new responsibilities in maintaining security and law enforcement.                

The promotion was approved by the Police Service Commission (PSC) on the recommendation of the Inspector-General of Police, Kayode Adeolu Egbetokun, Ph.D. 

Those elevated moved from the rank of the Chief Superintendents of Police (CSP) to the esteemed rank of Assistant Commissioner of Police (ACP) were: ACP Prince Ugochukwu Ezejiofor – Officer in Charge, Zonal Special Enquiry Bureau (ZSEB), Zone 13, Ukpo, 

ACP Celestine Tochukwu Umeh – Officer in Charge, State Intelligence Department (SID), Anambra State Command,  ACP Judu Nwabugwu Ohaja – Assistant Commissioner, State Criminal Investigation Department (SCID), Awka,  ACP Elha Clever C. – Divisional Police Officer (DPO), Ogui, Enugu Command and ACP Oshiobugie Jafaru Emoefe – Chief Finance Officer (CFO), Anambra Police Command.

The newly promoted officers, surrounded by family, friends, and colleagues, expressed gratitude to the Inspector-General of Police, the Force leadership, and the Police Service Commission,  pledging to justify the confidence reposed in them by carrying out their duties with renewed commitment and professionalism.

 Aghaulor expressed gratitude to God and the police force for the opportunity given him to serve at Zone 13 comprising Enugu and Anambra States and his rise to the rank of AIG. 

 As part of his farewell, AIG Aghaulor laid the foundation for a chapel at the Zonal Headquarters, a gesture that was widely praised as a testament to his commitment to the spiritual and moral well-being of officers within the command.

In attendance at

 send-forth ceremony included dignitaries from various sectors, including representatives from the Police Officers Wives Association (POWA) and the Police Community Relations Committee (PCRC).

The groups described AIG Aghaulor as a seasoned and disciplined officer, expressing gratitude for his leadership and service.

Aghaulor assumed office in  mid November 2023 as the 7th AIG for Anambra and Enugu states.

Born in Agbor, Ika North East Local Government Area of Delta State in 1965, Aghaulor began his career in 1990 as an ASP Cadet. Over the years, he held various key positions, including Commandant of Police College Kaduna, Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP) Administration in Sokoto, among others.
