First Lady visits abused boy, confirms stable condition

Wife of the Anambra State Governor, Dr. Nonye Soludo, has expressed relief over the improving condition of 10-year-old Chiziterem, who was allegedly abused by his guardian.


During a visit to the hospital where the child is receiving treatment, Mrs. Soludo said medical reports confirmed that his condition is now stable and that he is making encouraging progress.


She commended the medical team, concerned citizens, and all those who have shown support and compassion toward the boy. She also assured that his recovery would continue to be closely monitored to ensure he receives the care and protection he deserves.


Mrs. Soludo urged the public to report cases of abuse and emergencies through the state’s emergency lines, stressing the need for collective action to protect children from harm.
