Reports making rounds on social media alleging that the Spiritual Director of the Holy Ghost Adoration Ministry, Rev. Fr. Emmanuel Obimma, popularly known as Fr. Ebube Muonso, aligned himself with the kingship ambition of Chukwuezugo Austin Ndigwe have been described as false, misleading, and a deliberate misrepresentation of the purpose of his recent visit.

Contrary to the speculations, Fr. Ebube Muonso’s visit was neither a political endorsement nor a declaration of support for any individual’s ambition regarding the traditional leadership tussle in Awka Kingdom.

Rather, the respected Catholic cleric visited solely to encourage peace, unity, and strict adherence to government directives concerning the kingship matter.

During the meeting, Fr. Ebube Muonso reportedly advised Austin Ndigwe to remain calm, peaceful, and law-abiding, while cautioning against actions capable of escalating tension or creating disunity among the people of Awka Kingdom.

The fiery preacher also stressed the need for unity, brotherly love, and peaceful coexistence among Ndị Awka, noting that no community can experience meaningful growth and development in an atmosphere of rancour and division.

Quoting Psalm 133:1, he reminded the people that: “Behold, how good and how pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity.”

Members of the public have therefore been urged to disregard the misleading narratives and false interpretations circulating online, insisting that the visit was purely a peace mission aimed at promoting harmony, stability, and progress in Awka Kingdom.
