Jubilation erupted in Obosi Kingdom as the traditional ruler, Igwe Chidubem Iweka, received an honorary Doctor of Divinity degree and Exceptional Leadership Award from Bethany Bible Seminary.
Presenting the awards, the seminary’s President/Chancellor, Bishop Prof. Miracle Vincent Fidelis, praised the monarch’s leadership and growing influence within and outside Anambra State. He noted that Obosi indigenes in the diaspora were proud of the Igwe’s achievements, especially his role during President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s visit to Anambra State.
Responding, Igwe Iweka thanked the institution for the honour and pledged continued service to Obosi Kingdom and Anambra State.
Also speaking, Chimezie Obi and Emeka Asimonye commended the seminary for recognizing the monarch’s contributions.
