The Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) in Anambra has warned officers to improve performance or risk dismissal.

State Commandant Maku Olatunde issued the directive during an identification parade at the command headquarters in Awka, stressing the need for vigilance, discipline, and strict adherence to operational guidelines.

He warned that negligence and inefficiency would no longer be tolerated, adding that officers must remain at their duty posts and follow all rules of engagement.

Olatunde said the move aims to strengthen the command’s capacity to tackle security challenges and effectively protect lives and property across the state.
