LP candidate hails Archbishop Okeke at 45th priestly ordination anniversary

The Labour Party (LP) candidate for Anambra Central Senatorial District, Ven. Tochukwu Ikezue, has congratulated the Archbishop of Onitsha, Most Rev. Valerian Okeke, on the occasion of his 45th Priestly Ordination Anniversary.


Archbishop Okeke marked the milestone with the ordination of eleven priests at the Most Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Onitsha.


Ikezue described the celebration as a testament to the Church’s enduring faith and praised the Archbishop for his decades of dedicated service, humility, spiritual leadership, and commitment to evangelization and education.


He prayed for God’s continued strength, good health, and grace upon the Archbishop as he continues his pastoral ministry.


The LP candidate also congratulated one of the newly ordained priests, Rev. Fr. Dominic Nnoruka of Ogidi, urging him to remain faithful to his calling, depend on God in prayer, and serve the Church with courage and dedication.


He noted that the priesthood is a noble vocation that requires perseverance, selfless service, and unwavering commitment to Christ.
