Dr Kingsley Ezekwelu, the All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate for Idemili Federal Constituency in the 2027 general elections, has attracted borehole projects to Ideani and Uke communities in Anambra State to address their drinking water challenges.
The projects received support from the Nkechi Chiamaka Foundation (NCF), an international humanitarian organisation. Nigeria’s Ambassador to Israel, Barrister Nkiru Chiamaka Ufochukwu, communicated the foundation’s readiness to support development efforts in her home constituency.
Addressing supporters during visits to Ideani, Uke and Ogidi, Ezekwelu urged the communities to liaise with his office to identify suitable locations for the boreholes, assuring them that arrangements had been made for work to commence.
Describing the initiative as the beginning of more development projects, he urged residents to support his ambition to represent them at the National Assembly.
“Follow who know road,” he said, stressing his commitment to using his contacts and experience to attract development to the constituency.
Ezekwelu also criticised what he described as poor representation over the past four years, promising to serve as an effective voice and advocate for his constituents.
Also speaking, Chief Vin Obi, the APC candidate for Idemili North State Constituency, urged residents to support the party, claiming that the federal constituency had not benefited from constituency projects during the outgoing legislative period.
The APC candidates received enthusiastic welcomes from supporters during their visits to the communities.
