The Order of the Knights of St. Mulumba Nigeria (KSM), Onitsha Metropolitan Council, has elevated 53 members to the 3rd Degree of the Order in a ceremony held at the Basilica of the Most Holy Trinity Cathedral.

The investiture, led by Metro Grand Knight, Jude Mbaegbu, and Lady President, Constance Okoli, featured a Holy Mass officiated by the Metro Chaplain, George Adimike.
In his homily, Rev. Fr. Adimike urged the newly elevated members to be true witnesses of Christ and help guide others back to faith, stressing their role as agents of light and reconciliation.
Speaking after the ceremony, Sir Jude Mbaegbu, KSM charged the honourees to uphold discipline and serve as role models in society, while Okoli reminded them that greater responsibility comes with their new rank.
In her statement, Lady Prof Constance Okoli emphasized the need for members to contribute meaningfully through their “3Ts” — talent, time, and treasure — noting that KSM remains a family-oriented and value-driven organisation.
Also speaking, Deputy Metro Grand Knight, Norbert Okoli, encouraged the members to live up to the expectations of the Order, describing the 3rd Degree as a significant stage in their journey.
Public Relations Officer, Hugo Anosike, described the elevation as a mark of growth, responsibility, and commitment to the Church.
Some of the newly elevated members expressed gratitude for the honour, pledging to deepen their service to God and humanity.
