Adaora Soludo, daughter of Chukwuma Soludo, has relaunched her NGO, Gloria Foundation, with scholarship awards to 10 indigent female university students in Anambra State.
The foundation, established in 2018 in memory of late educator and social crusader, Mrs Gloria Uzomaka Ezenwanne, focuses on empowering young women through education and mentorship.
Speaking during the presentation, Adaora said the scholarship initiative was designed to support young girls from poor backgrounds and inspire them to pursue their dreams.
According to her, many young people only need encouragement and support to succeed in life.
The beneficiaries also received sanitary pads as part of the foundation’s support package aimed at promoting confidence and dignity among female students.
Some of the beneficiaries, including Oluchi Okeke, Grace Okonkwo and Amarachi Ezeukwu, expressed gratitude to the foundation, describing the gesture as a major boost to their academic pursuits and future aspirations.
