His Royal Majesty, Eze Thomas Agu Obiwuru Obiefule, Okairuro 1, Okwara Akubueze II & Ezekaibeya of Umudioka Ancient Kingdom, Orlu LGA, Imo State celebrated his 83rd birthday anniversary and 43rd years on the throne on Tuesday even as he used the unique occasion to confer chieftaincy titles to some prominent personalities.

The colourful birthday bash commenced with a high mass at Sacred Heart Parish Umudioka and civic reception at St Maria Gorratti Secondary School ground where Eze Okairoro, who’s the longest Imo serving monarch and the Chairman Orlu Zonal Council of Traditional Rulers, cut his birthday cake and conferred the first phase of the chieftaincy titles to prominent citizens.


Finally, last segment of the title conferment took place at Ezekaibeya’s Ancient Palace of the “National Corporate Existence” where among the illustrious recipients was yours sincerely’s brother-in-law, Chief Cletus Egbujor, Akuzuonu1of Umudioka Ancient Kingdom, a Lagos based business man.


In his brief chat with the press crew, the elated Chief Akuzuonu gave thanks to Almighty God and also appreciated Eze Agu Obiefule for finding him worthy of the title even as he acknowledged the support by his siblings, relatives and associates for “the success of everything”…


Among the dignitaries that graced the occasion were the Imo State Deputy Governor, Chinyere Ekuomaru, who represented Governor Hope Uzodimma, Chief of Staff, Govt House, Owerri, Barr Nnamdi Anyaehie, Hon, Barr, Dr Martin Ihezuo, representing Orlu State Constituency at IMHA, Orlu LGA Chairman, Honvv Pst Chris Mbarie, Orlu LGA APC Chairman, Hon Engr Stanley Nwosu, Ochinanwata, among others.
