CVR: APC’s Nic Ukachukwu announces N2m incentive for ward with highest registration drive

Ahead of the November 8 governorship election in Anambra state, continuous voter registration has commenced, starting July 8 and set to end on July 17, 2025.

Thus, the All Progressives Congress(APC) governorship candidate in the coming November 8, 2025 election, Prince Nicholas Ukachukwu, has pledged a cash reward of N2 million to any of the 326 wards in the state that records the highest number of registered voters.

Prince Ukachukwu urged all relevant eligible voters to participate in the on-going CVR for this year’s poll.

The guber candidate, who addressed a mammoth crowd that gathered to welcome him at the Nkwo Ogidi market square in Idemili North local government area, and St. Mark’s Anglican church field, Ojoto, Idemili South local government area respectively, urged eligible voters to take advantage of the ongoing CVR opportunity. He emphasized the importance of being registered to vote, stating that it is crucial for citizens to participate in shaping the future of their community and the governance of the state.

To further encourage participation, Ukachukwu announced an incentive: a N2 million reward for the ward that registers the highest number of voters during this registration period. This initiative aims to mobilize community engagement and enhance voter turnout in the upcoming elections.

He also promised that if he’s voted into power, he would stem the tide of kidnappings, killings and all anti-social behaviors in order to provide an enabling environment for positive transformation in the state.
