The Obi further disclosed that Umuezereme had enjoyed peaceful coexistence and cordial relationships among its people, a development he attributed to the community’s spirit of understanding and unity.
He expressed optimism that the unveiling of the new Isi-Obi would further strengthen the community’s traditional heritage and provide an enduring symbol of its identity, unity and collective aspirations.
The participation of Obi Afamefuna, his council chiefs and Chief Monye added colour and significance to the occasion, reflecting the collaboration between traditional institutions and influential community figures in promoting cultural values and peaceful relationships.
