Bishop Ezeokafor urges credible leadership, backs LP aspirant

The Catholic Bishop of Awka Diocese, Most Rev. Paulinus Ezeokafor, has called for the emergence of credible and God-fearing leaders in Nigeria.
He made the call when the Anambra Central Labour Party (LP) senatorial aspirant, Ven. Tochukwu Ikezue, visited him to formally declare his ambition.
The Bishop commended Ikezue’s courage, describing his decision as a bold step toward service.
In his remarks, Ikezue said his aspiration is driven by the desire for purposeful leadership and development in Anambra Central. He pledged to focus on social justice, youth empowerment, infrastructure, and inclusive governance if elected.
He also urged stakeholders and constituents to support his vision, assuring them of integrity, transparency, and people-oriented representation.
