Chief Ferdinand Dozie Nwankwo, the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) senatorial candidate for Anambra Central in the 2027 general election, has received commendations from community leaders for his people-oriented projects and programmes.
Nwankwo, popularly known as Onyendozi, made the remarks while addressing constituents at his campaign headquarters in Enugwu-Ukwu, where he reiterated his commitment to improving livelihoods, promoting self-reliance and equipping residents with productive skills.
He said his senatorial ambition was driven by a desire to empower households, create employment opportunities and promote productive partnerships between citizens and government.
According to him, his vision includes transforming Anambra Central into a hub for skilled labour and locally produced goods.
A community leader from Abagana, Chief Okey Nwude, commended Nwankwo’s reported developmental projects and urged eligible voters to participate in the January 16, 2027, senatorial election.
Nwude described the election as an opportunity to elect a representative who would prioritise the needs of constituents.
Similarly, Hon. Atuegbu Emmanuel, a community leader from Njikoka Local Government Area, expressed support for Nwankwo, citing his familiarity with the candidate’s background and activities in the area.
He also praised community stakeholders, women and youths across the seven local government areas that make up Anambra Central for their participation in the campaign.
The endorsement comes as political activities gather momentum ahead of the 2027 general election, with candidates seeking to convince voters through their records, programmes and promises.
