Gov Soludo has tall dream for Anambra to make it stand out in comity of states in Nigeria-Commissioner for Industry, Udechukwu

Anambra State Commisioner for Industry, Mr Christian Udechukwu weekend told journalists that Governor Charles Soludo has been passionate about building a state that would be distinguished in Nigeria among other states.

The Commissioner disclosed this during an interactive session with journalists in Nnewi. He noted that the Governor was not distracted about who would be contesting in the 2025 Anambra state governorship election but passionate about giving the state a five star governance that would be enduring, so that Ndi-Anambra would be proud of it.

“Gov Soludo is intentional about the development of Anambra State, he is occasioning transformational programmes and agenda that are alien to the people in the thirty two years existence of the state.

“As soon as he came on board, he employed five thousand teachers to boost teaching and learning in the state, he has also initiated process of boosting the teaching staff with another three thousand teachers. This he has supported by granting state of the art computers to the teachers.

“He backed this up with free education programme for pupils from Primary 1 to JSS 3, the implication of this initiative is that pressures are intentionally removed from the shoulders of struggling patients.

“The MIDAS touch has been extended to health care delivery in Anambra as he employed many personnel to ensure that Ndi-Anambra live well. Again, there is free antenatal and post natal healthcare delivery in all the government hospitals in the state.

“Work is ongoing in the model industrial park, I must not fail to let you know that the United States (US) big tech are coming to Anambra, Rail Master Plan is under way, of course the 1 Youth 2 Skills initiative of the administration of Prof Charles Soludo is intended to make Anambra youths employers of labour and not job seekers.

“The administration of the day has commenced the activation of public water scheme across the state, over four hundred kilometers roads have been constructed, Ndi-Anambra have never had it so good.

“You should also know that Anambra State today is No 7 in the whole country when it comes to ease of doing business and No 1 in South East. These are landmark achievements that should elicit excitement,” he said.

Mr Udechukwu said all the programmes and policies were carefully packaged to fulfill the ambition of Gov Soludo to build a peaceful, prosperous and liveable homeland.
