The Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Ambassador Versatile Press and Versatile Real Estate and Development Consult Limited, Rotr. Comrade Dan Darlington Ogbuagu, has congratulated Rtn. Engr. Tochukwu Vincent Nwokike on his installation as the 42nd President of the Rotary Club of Nnewi.
Ogbuagu, who is the Assistant District Rotaract Representative (ADRR) for Anambra Zone 5 and a past President of the Rotary Club of Nnewi, described Nwokike’s emergence as a significant milestone for the club, expressing confidence in his capacity to provide purposeful and impactful leadership.
In a congratulatory message, Ogbuagu felicitated with the new Rotary President on behalf of the Rotaract Club of Anambra Zone 5, wishing him wisdom, strength, good health and the necessary support to successfully pilot the affairs of the club.
He urged Nwokike to build on the achievements of his predecessors while promoting unity, fellowship, service and community development throughout his tenure.
According to him, the Rotary Club of Nnewi has over the years distinguished itself through humanitarian interventions, community service, youth development and other initiatives aimed at improving the lives of people within and beyond Nnewi.
Ogbuagu expressed optimism that the new administration would further strengthen the club’s commitment to the Rotary ideals of “Service Above Self,” while creating opportunities for greater collaboration between Rotary and Rotaract members.
He also assured the new president of the continued goodwill and support of members of the Rotaract community, particularly Rotaract Club members within Anambra Zone 5, as he assumes the responsibilities of his new office.
Nwokike was formally installed as the 42nd President of the Rotary Club of Nnewi on Saturday, August 8, 2026, during a colourful installation ceremony held at Nnewi Hotels, Nnewi, Anambra State.
The ceremony attracted Rotarians, Rotaractors, family members, friends, community leaders and other distinguished guests who gathered to witness the transition of leadership and celebrate the new president.
Ogbuagu prayed that Nwokike’s tenure would be peaceful, successful and memorable, noting that his leadership provides another opportunity for the Rotary Club of Nnewi to deepen its contributions to humanity and community development.
He further wished the new Rotary President a hitch-free tenure, urging him to remain committed to the principles of service, integrity, fellowship and leadership upon which Rotary was founded.
