Rise to your responsibility of building Anambra, Nigeria, LP candidate tells Christians
By Chinedum Treasure
Labour Party (LP) candidate for Anambra Central Senatorial District, Ven. Tochukwu Ikezue, has called on Christians to rise to their responsibility of building Anambra State and Nigeria through godly leadership, integrity and selfless service.
Ikezue made the call during the Children’s Harvest Thanksgiving at the Chapel of Redemption, Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka. The event was themed “Harvest of Vision to Reality: Let Us Arise and Build.”
According to him, national development requires citizens, especially Christians, to embrace values that promote peace, accountability and responsible leadership.
He said his own mission is to rescue Anambra Central Senatorial District and contribute meaningfully to the rebuilding of the state and the nation through selfless service.
The cleric-turned-politician also expressed delight at celebrating the Children’s Harvest with the congregation and urged the children to remember him in their prayers, asking God to grant him wisdom, strength and grace as he continues what he described as his rescue mission.
