Soludo’s wife seeks greater support for MSMEs

Wife of the Anambra State Governor, Mrs. Nonye Soludo, has called for sustained support for Micro, Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (MSMEs) to boost economic growth and create more jobs.


In a message marking the 2026 International MSME Day, themed “Human-Centred Entrepreneurship in an AI-Driven Future: Economic Empowerment for the Next Generation of MSMEs,” she described entrepreneurs as key drivers of innovation, employment and community development.

Mrs. Soludo praised the resilience of small business owners, stressing that thriving MSMEs are vital to building prosperous and inclusive communities.


She urged continued investment in policies and initiatives that improve access to markets, skills development and business opportunities for entrepreneurs.
