Daughter of Anambra State Governor, Ifeatu Soludo, has urged Nigerian youths to participate actively in nation-building and democratic processes ahead of the 2027 elections.

Speaking at the ASUU Secretariat of Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka, the Anambra State Woman Leader of the City Boy Movement encouraged eligible students to obtain their Permanent Voter Cards (PVCs) and make their voices count.

“Young people have a major role to play in shaping the future of society. Your vote is your voice and your power. Do not allow others to decide your future while you remain silent,” she said.

Soludo also advised young women to believe in themselves and pursue their dreams with confidence, describing them as intelligent, gifted and capable of leadership.

The Gloria Foundation founder further distributed sanitary pads to female students and stressed the importance of menstrual hygiene, health education and self-confidence among girls.

She noted that many girls still miss classes and important activities due to lack of access to sanitary products and proper support.

“No girl should feel ashamed or limited because of a natural biological process,” she added.
