Dame Princess Esom-Nwafor Orizu takes strong lead in APC primary for Nnewi Federal Constituency

Dame Princess Esom-Nwafor Orizu (Adakaibeya) has emerged with a commanding lead in the All Progressives Congress (APC) primary election for the Nnewi North, Nnewi South, and Ekwusigo Federal Constituency.


Preliminary results collated across the constituency indicated that she secured more than 80 percent of the total votes cast, highlighting her widespread acceptance among party delegates and supporters.


Political observers and party stakeholders attributed the overwhelming support to her longstanding loyalty to the APC, grassroots mobilization, and consistent engagement with communities across the constituency.


Her campaign was built around effective representation, community development, youth empowerment, and improved legislative participation.

Supporters described her emergence as a reflection of the confidence party members have in her leadership capacity and ability to deliver victory for the APC in the general election.


Residents and APC faithful in Nnewi North, Nnewi South, and Ekwusigo expressed optimism following the outcome of the primary, noting that her popularity and grassroots connection positioned her as a strong contender for the forthcoming polls.


Dame Princess Esom-Nwafor Orizu, widely regarded as the consensus candidate, has once again demonstrated significant grassroots strength within the party structure.
