The Anambra Patriots have reaffirmed their commitment to promoting credible and accountable leadership ahead of the 2027 general elections.
The group made this known during an interactive session in Awka with the Deputy Speaker of the Anambra State House of Assembly, Hon. Dr. Chuma Okoye, who is seeking to represent Awka North and South Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives.
Chairman, Chief Damian Enekwechi, said the group will support candidates with proven competence, integrity, and strong track records, while continuing to provide a platform for engagement between aspirants and the electorate.
“Our support will be based on capacity, credibility, and the overall interest of the people,” he said.
Convener, Architect Okey Ezeobi, described the group as a self-funded initiative committed to good governance.
In his remarks, Okoye said his ambition is to expand his impact and deliver more democratic dividends, citing his achievements in the state assembly.
