The All Progressives Congress (APC) in the South-East has expressed confidence in Anambra State Governor, Prof. Chukwuma Soludo, to mobilise massive support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and deliver victory for him in the 2027 general elections.
The APC South-East National Vice Chairman and South-East Zonal Coordinator of the Presidential Campaign Council (PCC), Dr. Ijeomah Arodiogbu, expressed the confidence while reacting to Soludo’s appointment as Anambra State Coordinator of the APC Presidential Campaign Council for the 2027 elections.
Arodiogbu described the appointment as a strategic recognition of Soludo’s organisational capacity, intellectual depth and wide acceptability across the region.
According to him, the governor’s governance record and progressive orientation make him a valuable asset in consolidating the gains of President Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda in the South-East.
He noted that the region had begun to benefit from strategic cooperation with the Federal Government through infrastructure projects, political appointments and other federal interventions under the Tinubu administration.
“Governor Soludo has the capacity, the network, and the credibility to galvanise massive support for President Tinubu across Anambra State,” Arodiogbu stated.
“His appointment strengthens our campaign structure and reinforces the resolve of our people to reward the President with bloc votes in 2027.”
The APC chieftain recalled that South-East APC governors, leaders and stakeholders had earlier declared their total support for Tinubu as the party’s sole presidential candidate, citing the principles of reciprocal politics and the need to sustain the Federal Government’s presence in the region.
He added that cooperation among progressive political forces, including APGA’s endorsement of Tinubu at the presidential level, reflected a growing recognition that constructive engagement with the Federal Government serves the interests of the Igbo people.
Arodiogbu assured that the South-East APC would work closely with Soludo and other political stakeholders to secure a decisive electoral victory for Tinubu and the party in 2027.
He said the region’s support for the President was anchored on development, political inclusion and shared progress, expressing optimism that the collaboration would strengthen the APC’s electoral prospects across the zone.
