Anambra State Governor, Prof. Chukwuma Soludo, has urged Women Coordinators of the City Boy Movement to intensify grassroots mobilization in support of President Bola Tinubu’s re-election bid in 2027.
Speaking during a meeting with the coordinators at the Lighthouse, Awka, Soludo emphasized the importance of strategic political participation, noting that votes remain the strongest bargaining tool in a democracy.
He encouraged the women to organize effectively and engage communities, stressing that women and youths play critical roles in driving development and shaping the nation’s future.
The governor also reiterated his commitment to supporting the group’s activities, urging members to focus on initiatives that deliver benefits to society.
Earlier, the Anambra State Women Coordinator of the movement, Mrs. Adaora Soludo, said the group was committed to promoting the policies and programmes of the Tinubu administration and strengthening the connection between government and the people.
The meeting was attended by the Secretary to the State Government, Mrs. Chiamaka Nnake, the Mayor of Idemili South, Mrs. Amaka Obi, and other stakeholders.
