Chairman of the Local Organising Committee, Dr Mrs Ifeoma Etukokwu, said the initiative aimed at educating dog owners on disease prevention and proper dog management.

A Board of Trustees member of Anambra State Dog Breeders, Mr Emmanuel Anugwalu, disclosed that over 100 dogs of different breeds participated in the show.

The event featured free anti-rabies vaccination, breed exhibition, dog competition, lectures on dog training and presentation of prizes.
