The President of Tipper Drivers Association, Nnewi North, Nnewi South and Ekwusigo Local Government Area of Anamabra State, Mr Arinze Ulasi Saturday praised Governor Charles Soludo who he said had preformed wonderfully well especially in the area of road construction.
He made the commendation in an interview with journalists in Nnewi.
He said that it is the wish of his members for Soludo to continue for the second tenure, adding that Soludo’s transformative agenda has made life easy for the tipper drivers.
“Soludo has no rival in terms of provision of infrastructure development. Infact, if it is possible let him continue to govern Anambra indefinitely.
“We the tipper drivers now enjoy easy ride with access roads he has provided everywhere. We no longer visit mechanics workshops often to repair our vehicles because of the availability of good road network. We can now save our daily income to use it for some other needs.
“So, we are delighted and pledge to vote massively for his second tenure bid, “Ulasi said.
The tipper drivers President also disclosed that he has helped his members in so many ways to ensure their well- being, saying that he constituted a taskforce which monitors their members that engage in over speeding thereby curtailing the rate of accidents on the highways.
He equally disclosed that through his efforts, tipper drivers now imbibed the spirit of saving money as he discouraged them from engaging in unnecessary spending as well as ensuring that their customers were supplied full loads of sand which they paid for.
He appealed to the Governor to support his association by donating vehicle which he said would enhance the duty of the taskforce members who are on the field work.
