NYCN, UNIZIK partner to boost youth development in Anambra

The National Youth Council of Nigeria (NYCN), Anambra State Chapter, has begun discussions with the management of Nnamdi Azikiwe University (UNIZIK), Awka, to strengthen youth empowerment, leadership development and employment opportunities in the state.


During a courtesy visit to the Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Ugochukwu Bond Stanley Anyaehie, NYCN State Chairman, Comrade IKC Onuorah, said the partnership would focus on youth employment, entrepreneurship, leadership training and community service.


He described UNIZIK as a key institution in developing young leaders and reaffirmed the Council’s commitment to collaborating with organisations that promote youth development.


Responding, Prof. Anyaehie welcomed the initiative and assured the Council of the university’s readiness to support programmes that equip young people with the skills and opportunities needed to succeed.


Both parties expressed optimism that the collaboration would advance youth development and educational excellence in Anambra State.
