Hon. Gwacham Maureen Chinwe, representing Oyi/Ayamelum Federal Constituency, has clarified a viral clip showing her seconding a motion on the House floor.
The motion, moved by Hon. Muktar Tolani Shagaya, calls for the urgent provision of Automated External Defibrillators (AEDs) in public institutions nationwide to strengthen emergency medical response and save lives.
Addressing concerns, Gwacham explained she was briefly caught off guard when asked to second the motion but reaffirmed her commitment to transparency, accountability, and effective representation.
She emphasized her focus remains on delivering for her constituents and supporting initiatives that protect lives.
