Operatives of the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) Anambra Sector Command have rescued an unidentified middle-aged man found unconscious along the Awka-Enugu expressway.
The victim, discovered opposite the FRSC office without visible injuries, was evacuated within minutes and taken to Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu University Teaching Hospital (COOUTH) for urgent medical attention.
According to the Sector Public Education Officer, SRC Margaret Onabe, the cause of the incident remains unknown, and no eyewitness account has been obtained.
A follow-up visit to the hospital confirmed that the victim is still unconscious and yet to be identified, as no relatives have come forward.
The FRSC has appealed to members of the public to help identify the victim and urged citizens to report emergencies through its toll-free line, 122.
