The President and Founder of Faithspiration, a non-governmental organisation, Very Rev. Fr. Dr. George Adimike, has charged Christians to deploy their God-given wealth, talents and resources to the service of God and humanity.
Fr. Adimike gave the charge while speaking with newsmen after the Thanksgiving Mass of Faithspiration members at the Chapel of the Daughters of Divine Love, SS John and Paul, Awada-Obosi, Anambra State.
He explained that Faithspiration was established to bring people closer to God, strengthen their faith in Jesus Christ and reach out to the poor, the weak and those who do not yet believe in Christ, thereby creating opportunities for them to encounter God.
The Catholic priest, who is also the Director of Communications, Onitsha Archdiocese, said the organisation deploys evangelisation, preaching of the Word of God, charity outreaches, music and entertainment to draw people closer to God.
“Christians all over the world should use every opportunity and resources available to spread the Gospel of God for the salvation of mankind,” he advised.
Earlier in his homily during the Thanksgiving Mass marking the successful celebration of Ave Maria Praised, Rev. Fr. Izuchukwu Ahazie urged the faithful to use their God-given talents for the salvation of souls.
He also cautioned Christians against judging or condemning others, stressing that no one is perfect.
In his remarks, a member of the group, Mr. Kingsley Ezeudu, described Faithspiration as a global family committed to inspiring youths, teaching them about Jesus Christ and giving them hope.
Ezeudu commended Fr. Adimike for his positive impact on young people through evangelisation, mentorship and support.
