The Operatives of the Anambra State Commissioner of Police (CP) Special Patrol, at about 5:00 p.m. on December 16, 2025, during an offensive security operation in Abagana, recovered one pump-action rifle, one locally fabricated single-barreled rifle, one ash Toyota highlander with reg nos: UWN 680 PE, suspected stolen cash amounting to ₦636,700.00, and other incriminating items.
The Anambra State Police Spokesman, SP Tochukwu Ikenna said the recovery followed the abandonment of an operational vehicle by fleeing suspects after it was involved in an accident during a hot pursuit by the operatives.
The suspects are currently being tracked, and intelligence-led operations have been intensified to ensure their arrest.
Police said further development shall be communicated.
