*As APC Chairman in Nnewi North LGA, Hon Prince Innocent Obi presents demands of his members
The All Progressives Congress (APC) South East Organizing Secretary, Mr Dozie Ikedife (Jnr) on Saturday hosted the APC Deputy National Chairman (North), Hon.Ali Bukar Dalori and his entourage who came for familiarization.
Mr Ikedife used the opportunity to tell the visitors that the party is on ground in Nnewi.
Hon Dalori is the newly appointed Board Chairman of the Nnamdi Azikiwe University Teaching Hospital (NAUTH), Nnewi by Mr President, Bola Tinubu.
Dalori was in Nnewi for three days on a walking visit to see the level of development of the NAUTH, Nnewi permanent site and to familiarize.
Mr Ikedife said members of the APC in Anambra State, especially in Nnewi saw the need to show solidarity to Hon Dalori, whom he described as a party man and one of the APC leaders in Nigeria.
Others in the entourage were Deputy National Secretary of APC, Chief Festus Fauntera; the National Vice Chairman South East APC, Dr Ijeomah Arodigbo; the State Chairman of APC Borno State; the women leader of Borno State, among other dignitaries who were part of the visit.
The APC hierarchs from Abuja were received by a large number of Nnewi North Council and ward executives who came out with enthusiasm to receive the party leaders from the national.
Ikedife Jnr disclosed that Dalori had promised to do his best in assisting the NAUTH to make it one of the best medical tourism centers in Nigeria.
Dalori, according to Ikedife has been actively involved in APC politics and was extremely happy to be received by mammoth crowd who were members of APC in Nnewi North.
Ikedife Jnr disclosed that the Chairman of Nnewi North APC made a request that the members of APC in Nnewi North would be remembered for future employment at the NAUTH based on their qualifications, which he said Dalori promised to look into.
He further noted that Hon Dalori’s visit had helped to stir the base of the party at the grassroots, adding that all the ward Chairmen and other ward executives came too, saying that they were all happy to receive the visitors.
He further revealed that they were gearing for a Senatorial and governorship elections, reaffirming that they would be victorious.
The APC Chairman in Nnewi North Local Government Area, Hon Prince Innocent Obi on behalf of other party members appreciated Dalori’s visit.
He commended Ikedife for what he described as his unwavering commitment and doggedness in making Dalori’s visit a success.
He re-echoed the request that Hon Dalori should remember the APC members in Nnewi North when it comes to employment at the NAUTH.
