The Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Anambra State Command, has honoured outstanding officers in its in-house assessment test, with ACC Ochie Paul, Head of the Solid Minerals and Development Unit, emerging as the overall best performer.

Presenting the awards during the Command’s weekly tactical meeting, State Commandant Maku Olatunde said the recognition was aimed at rewarding excellence and encouraging professionalism, discipline and quality service delivery.

He urged officers to remain committed to intelligence gathering, effective report writing and the protection of critical national, state and local government assets.

Maku also warned personnel against misconduct, illegal duties and dereliction of duty, stressing that offenders would face severe sanctions.

The assessment involved heads of departments, units, area commands, divisions, formations and composite commands.
