The All Progressives Congress (APC) support group in Anambra State, the Ikemba Front, has
tasked its members to work hard to deliver their polling units during the November 8, 2025 governorship election.

Addressing members of the Ikemba Front in Awka, the State capital during their general meeting called to conscientise them on their roles on the forthcoming gubernatorial election, the National Coordinator of the group, Sir Arinzechikwu Awogu declared that poling units are the focus of every election.

He said: “The emphasis is on polling units.Sone wards have 78 units.Okpoko ward alone has 78 units. Obosi alone has over 300 polling units”.

He challenged them to spread the membership of the party now that the electioneering is about to commence so that : “We can deliver APC during the coming election.”

Sir Awogu reminded the members that they are moving against an incumbent which has been in power since 2006.
The National Coordinator told them that they should not be more interested in what they should get from their principal and governorship candidate, Prince Dr Nicholas Ukachukwu but how : “do we help our principal get into power”.

He told them to be bold, noting that APC of today has changed, now unique and ready to wrestle power from the All Progressive Grand Alliance (APGA).
He said that Ikemba Front is not only a support group but key to the success of APC in the next election.

“The 356 wards in Anambra State has the imprimatur of the of APC through Ikemba Front”, said Sir Awogu.

He said from next week the activities will centre in the ward because the gubernatorial candidate would start his Local Government tour of the State and the ward is the centre of activities.

He said: ” The main activities will from now be in the wards.Individual contribution will define you. You should ask ourselves have I been able to define myself. Go and work hard and deliver APC. We are the pillar of the party in the State a. That is the essence of this meeting”.
