The Archbishop of the Niger Province and Bishop of Awka Diocese, Most Rev. Dr. Alexander Ibezim, has commended clergymen and other believers who participate in politics, describing their involvement as a positive development for society.
Speaking while hosting the Labour Party candidate for Anambra Central Senatorial District, Ven.

He encouraged eligible voters to obtain their Permanent Voter Cards (PVCs) and actively participate in elections, stressing that good governance depends on electing righteous leaders.
The cleric also called on the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) and security agencies to ensure free, fair and credible elections in 2027.
