Chairman of Anaocha Local Government Area of Anambra State, Romanus Ibekwe, has commissioned a newly built e-automobile mechanic workshop at the council headquarters in Neni.
Ibekwe described the project as part of efforts to empower youths through skills acquisition and support the development vision of Anambra State Governor, Prof. Chukwuma Soludo.
According to him, the workshop will serve as a training centre for young people to learn modern automobile maintenance and related technical skills, helping them become self-reliant and productive.
He said the initiative would also help reduce youth restiveness and create economic opportunities in the area.
The council chairman reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to people-oriented projects aimed at improving the living standards of residents.
Senior Special Adviser to the Governor on Political Matters, Hon. Chinedu Ofojebe, commended Ibekwe for his commitment to grassroots development and infrastructural projects in the local government area.
