The Anglican Bishop of Aguata Diocese, Rt. Rev. Samuel Ezeofor, has cautioned Christians against engaging in activities that contradict the true meaning of Easter.
Delivering his Easter message in Ekwulobia, Anambra State, Ezeofor stressed that masquerading is not part of Christian celebrations, describing it as contrary to the faith.
He explained that Easter symbolizes victory through the resurrection of Jesus Christ, urging believers to live righteously and reflect that victory in their daily lives.
The bishop also called on Christians to support the needy and less privileged, especially during the Easter season.
