AAC set for Anambra statewide secondary school tour

The African Action Congress (AAC), Anambra State Chapter has announced the official unveiling of its Secondary School Tour in the state.

The convener and Deputy National Chairperson (SouthEast), Chioma Ifemeludike, in a statement said the event, being organized in collaboration with AG Foundations with the theme, “Train Up a Child” is scheduled to hold on Saturday, February 28, 2026, in Awka.

The statement, signed by AAC Anambra State Chapter in Collaboration with AG Foundations reads in part, “This initiative is designed to engage secondary school students across Anambra State in meaningful conversations around leadership, character development, civic responsibility, academic excellence, and nation-building.

“The programme seeks to inspire young people to embrace discipline, integrity, and social consciousness as foundational values for personal and societal growth.

“The theme, “Train Up a Child,” reflects our commitment to early mentorship, guidance, and the deliberate nurturing of future leaders who will contribute positively to their communities and Nigeria at large.

“Through this statewide tour, AAC Anambra State Chapter and AG Foundations aim to promote value-based education and moral development and encourage responsible citizenship among students.

“The tour is also targeted at providing mentorship and motivational engagement as well as foster leadership consciousness from an early age

“We invite members of the public, education stakeholders, youth advocates, civil society groups, and the media to join us at the unveiling ceremony as we take this important step toward building a responsible and empowered generation.

“Together, we can shape the future by investing in our children today.”
