The new venture, Lozzy Super Market, opened its doors with a well-attended ceremony that drew residents across social classes, low, middle, and high, including the Nnewi Crown Prince, Obianefo Orizu, alongside notable figures from the town’s vibrant business community.

Guests who thronged the event spoke glowingly about the supermarket’s distinctive ambience, affordable pricing, and the courteous service rendered by its staff.

Speaking with journalists inside the facility, Mr Okoye said he had been in the supermarket business for about half a decade and decided to expand at home because of Nnewi’s business-friendly atmosphere.

“I know for certain that, by the grace of God, any business well managed in Nnewi will succeed because Nnewi is a virgin market, this land is filled with milk and honey.

“With an enabling environment, especially security, any business opened here will thrive. That is why I chose to establish this in my ancestral home, ”he said.

He assured customers that Lozzy Super Market stands out not just for its products but for its carefully designed environment and customer-focused services.

“We didn’t just build a warehouse and stock goods. We paid attention to the ambience, knowing that anyone who works hard to earn a living deserves to spend their money in a place that offers satisfaction.

“This is a place you would want to walk into and even take pictures because of the beautiful setting. What you see here is not what you see every day, ”he explained.

According to him, the supermarket prioritizes customer satisfaction above all else.

“Our staff are well trained to offer world-class services. Every business has its uniqueness, and ours is rooted in putting customers first. We don’t copy anyone, we are unique.”

Mr Okoye revealed that the supermarket currently employs about 65 workers, including security personnel. He said he paid all staff two months’ salary in advance during their training to ensure morale and commitment.

On the issue of security in the state, he commended Governor Charles Soludo for ongoing efforts to restore peace.

“The Governor has done very well and is still doing well in addressing security challenges. He is doing his best to ensure calmness and normalcy return to Anambra State.”

He also encouraged other well-meaning Anambra indigenes to invest at home and create employment opportunities for youths, noting that such moves would significantly curb crime rates across the state.
