Florida woman arrested for allegedly forcing daughter to have sex with family dog

A woman in St. Petersburg, Florida was arrested Monday on more than 40 felony charges, including capital sexual battery and production of child pornography, after authorities alleged she forced her 11-year-old daughter to engage in sexual acts with her, a 38-year-old man and the family’s dog.

Report said she recorded and shared the material.

The Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office announced the arrest of the 34-year-old woman during a press conference led by Sheriff Bob Gualtieri.

Detectives from the agency’s Crimes Against Children Unit took the suspect into custody on Oct. 13, 2025, and booked her into Pinellas County Jail.

To protect the juvenile victim, authorities have withheld the woman’s name and other identifying details.

According to the sheriff’s office, the investigation began earlier this month when detectives received information about the 38-year-old man’s involvement in obtaining child pornography and attempting to meet with young children.

Through forensic analysis and other investigative techniques, authorities uncovered evidence that the woman had been producing and distributing explicit videos and photos of the abuse.

The charges against the woman include four counts of capital sexual battery, three counts of lewd or lascivious molestation, 13 counts of transmission of child pornography, 13 counts of sexual performance by a child, three counts of sexual activities involving animals, four counts of aggravated child abuse, and one count of unlawful use of a two-way communication device.

Prosecutors allege the abuse occurred over an unspecified period, with the woman directing her daughter to perform sexual acts on her, the male associate and the family dog, while capturing the incidents on video and in photographs.

She then shared the material with the man, authorities said.

The case highlights a surge in child pornography investigations locally.

“Just to show you the magnitude of the problem, since January of this year, just here in Pinellas County alone, we have booked 84 different people into the Pinellas County Jail on child pornography charges involving about 900 charges of possessing or distributing child pornography,” Gualtieri said during the briefing.

“Think about that—that’s 900 different videos of kids, mostly in the 5- to 12-year-old range, engaged in perverse sex acts for the pleasure of adults who seek, obtain and watch these videos.”

The 38-year-old man has not been named in connection with this specific arrest, and no charges against him were detailed in the release.

The investigation remains ongoing, with detectives urging anyone with additional information to contact the sheriff’s office.

The woman is being held without bond pending her initial court appearance.

If convicted on the capital sexual battery charges, she could face life in prison under Florida law.
