Nise and Mbaukwu communities in Awka South Local Government Area of Anambra State have declared their support for the re-election of Governor Chukwuma Soludo.
The endorsement was made during the APGA ward tour held at Nise Civic Center and Agumgbala Field, Mbaukwu respectively which recorded massive turnout of party faithful, community leaders, women and youths.
Addressing Nise wards one and two, Deputy Governor of the State, Dr. Onyeka Ibezim said Soludo had recorded significant achievements in education, road construction, and electrification projects.
He reminded the people that Nise had always been a stronghold of APGA and urged them to consolidate the support by mobilizing voters at the polling unit level.
“Other past governors of Anambra served two terms; Soludo should also complete his eight years,” Ibezim said, stressing that APGA was more than a political party but a movement in Igbo land,” he added.
At his Mbaukwu country home, deputy governor listed some of the projects executed in the community, including street lights and road networks, assuring that the strategic Mbaukwu–Amawbia–Nibo road would soon be rehabilitated.
