By Ebere Akuma
ZOE Gospel Church International, popularly known as The Originality Centre, on Sunday, 29th December 2025, celebrated its 6th Anniversary in a grand and spiritually uplifting service marked by thanksgiving, testimonies, reflection, and a renewed call to greater impact in God’s kingdom.
The celebration featured a Welcome Address and Anniversary Charge delivered by the President and Lead Pastor, Bishop (Dr.) Orji Victor CP, who opened with heartfelt gratitude, giving “all glory, honour, and adoration to God, the Giver, Restorer, and Lifter of lives and destinies.” He thanked God as the Builder of His Church and the One who has sustained the ministry by grace through the years, declaring, “Precious Father God, we are grateful.”
The Lead Pastor warmly welcomed his Spiritual Father and Mother, Pastor H. Y. and Pastor Grace Shekwoduza, fathers and mothers in the faith, esteemed ministers of the Gospel, pastors, evangelists, leaders, workers, partners, supporters, friends, sons and daughters of the ministry, and the entire ZOE Gospel Church INT’L family, greeting everyone in the mighty name of Jesus Christ.
Describing the day as extraordinary, Bishop Orji noted that the gathering was to mark the 6th anniversary of ZOE Gospel Church INT’L, also known as The Originality Centre. He highlighted that the church was celebrating six years of God’s faithfulness, provision, grace, transformation, divine help and six years of raising men and women to walk in their God-given Originality.
Reflecting on the journey, he quoted Psalm 124:2, affirming that if not for the Lord who stood with the church, the story would have been different. He emphasized that the journey has not been by power nor by might, but by the Spirit of the living God.
Vision and Mandate
ZOE Gospel Church INT’L was birthed six years ago with a clear divine mandate: to bring lives back to Originality, expressed through a fivefold vision:
Restoring lives, hope, God’s presence, and power among the people.
Rebuilding God’s altar of fellowship among His people.
Reshaping, rediscovering and redirecting visions and destinies.
Raising influencers and leaders for God in all aspects of life.
Rekindling the fire of revival and hunger for God and righteousness among God’s people.
According to the Lead Pastor, the six-year journey has recorded remarkable testimonies, including souls saved, men and women of vision raised, healings, restored hopes, redirected destinies, restored families, emerging ministries and transformed lives through the Word and the power of the Holy Spirit.
Growth and Milestones
Bishop Orji disclosed that within the year alone, God added a new branch in Passo, provided land for the Headquarters Assembly, increased membership by over 50 new members, and released numerous miracles with testimonies that abound.
He expressed deep appreciation to his Spiritual Father and Mother for their parental role in his life and the church, as well as to pastors, evangelists, leaders, workers, faithful members, partners, and well-wishers. He acknowledged that their prayers, sacrifices, loyalty, commitment and support were instruments God used to establish and advance the ministry.
Addressing new members who joined the church during the year, the Lead Pastor assured them that their coming was divinely orchestrated and prayed that they would continually encounter God’s presence, Word, and power in fresh and life-changing ways.
Theme and Anniversary Charge
The anniversary celebration was anchored on the theme “Celebrating God’s Help For Greater Impact,” drawn from 1 Samuel 7:12 (NKJV) “Thus far the Lord has helped us” and Philippians 3:13–14, which emphasizes pressing forward and refusing to live in past achievements.
In his teaching, Bishop Orji emphasized that the anniversary was:
Not a full stop, but a comma
Not a conclusion, but a continuation
Not a conferment, but a commission
Not a destination, but a launchpad
Not a memory, but a mandate
He warned against being trapped by past victories, citing Isaiah 43:18, and reminded the church that “yesterday’s testimonies are proofs, not pillows.”
Quoting Psalm 65:11, he declared that the church stands not by strength or strategy but by grace, grace that has kept the church, sustained the vision, and preserved lives and destinies.
Call to Renewal and Greater Works
Drawing from Isaiah 40:31, the Lead Pastor called the church to renewed knowledge, obedience, love, consecration, faith, evangelism, strength, commitment, unity, togetherness and readiness for greater sacrifices in prayer, fasting, time, talents, treasures, teamwork and surrendered privileges.
Using Luke 5:4, he challenged the church to “launch out into the deep,” declaring that ZOE Gospel Church INT’L is not called to shallow impact or small influence but is a movement ordained for greater works, deeper territories, and wider influence.
Testimony and Commendation
During the celebration, Deacon Tony Obialor testified, thanking God for bringing him into the commission through his wife. He stated that since joining the church, both his spiritual life and overall life had changed for God. He also appreciated the Lead Pastor for leading with love, integrity, transparency, humility and the fear of God.
