The Governor of Anambra State, Prof. Chukwuma Charles Soludo, CFR, has extended warm congratulations to the former National Chairman of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA), Chief Victor Ike Oye, Ozonkpu, on the occasion of his 70th birthday.
In a goodwill message, Governor Soludo said he was delighted to join Chief Oye’s family, friends, political associates and the entire APGA family in celebrating a remarkable milestone in the life of a man he described as courageous, loyal and an outstanding leader.
According to the governor, attaining the age of 70 is a testament to God’s abundant grace and a fitting reward for a lifetime devoted to service, leadership and humanity.
Reflecting on Chief Oye’s contributions to APGA, Soludo praised his impactful tenure as the party’s National Chairman, describing him as a stabilising force who steered the party through challenging political periods while strengthening internal discipline, unity and electoral success.
He noted that Chief Oye’s leadership helped consolidate APGA’s position as a formidable political platform and ensured the party emerged stronger under his watch.
Governor Soludo further acknowledged Chief Oye’s continued service as a respected member of APGA’s Board of Trustees (BoT), describing him as a dependable leader whose wealth of experience remains invaluable to both the party and the ongoing transformation of Anambra State.
“As Chief Victor Oye joins the prestigious league of septuagenarians, I celebrate his enduring legacy and pray that Almighty God grants him sound health, renewed strength, greater wisdom and many more fruitful years of service to APGA, Anambra State and Nigeria,” the governor stated.
